Body of 25 year old woman found in Chippewa Twp.

On Thursday afternoon deputies responded to the report of a suspicious vehicle in Chippewa Twp. Upon approaching the vehicle the deputy discovered the body of an adult female inside the car.

The body was later identified as being 25-year-old Ashley Biggs, of Akron. Biggs had been reported missing from Summit county  during the early morning hours of June 21st. Prior to the body being found, New Franklin police in Summit county had arrested Chad Cobb (a former boyfriend) of Rittman for his involvement in this case.

It appears that Biggs was killed at a location in Summit county and brought to the Chippewa Twp location after the fact.

The case continues to be investigated by the New Franklin police.
