Deputy Peterman and K9 Rif were requested by Wooster Police on a traffic stop in the 100 block of Beall Ave. K9 Rif walked around the exterior of the car and alerted on the passenger side. A search was then conducted and officers located $1300.00 in cash, a large bag of marijuana, two small baggies of heroin and several other drug related items.
In addition to the drugs and money the defendants 4 year old child was also in the car.
Naturally the man explained that the large amount of cash was a result of a income tax refund.
