Can you hear the tornado sirens?

Today there will be a test of tornado sirens at 9:50am. Depending on what you are doing and where you are located you may or may not hear them­.

While these sirens are helpful, you may want to consider a backup such as a weather radio or one of several smart phone “apps”. These devices monitor continuous 24-hour weather and bulletin broadcasts from the National Weather Service channel and public alerts.
