| Sgt. Smucker Corrections Deputy of the month April |
Sheriff Travis Hutchinson recently
announced a new program designed to recognize deputies who excel in
their day to day duties. "I feel that my deputies do a great job and I wanted a way to draw attention to those who perform is ahead of
the rest each month” said Sheriff Hutchinson.
The program is designed to recognize the deputy in both the corrections and patrol divisions that constantly
outperforms his or her peers in the daily aspects of their jobs. The award is given monthly.

Patrol Deputies are evaluated in the number of arrest warrants served, defendants charged, reports taken, traffic stops and motorist assist.
Those in the corrections division are
evaluated on the accuracy of reports, discovery of contraband,
attendance and the number of inmates booked.
