Today marks the beginning of the “Stay Sober or Get Pulled
Over” traffic enforcement campaign. Starting today until Sept 3rd officers
across the country will be stepping up enforcement of crash causing violations.
Locally we will have extra deputies on patrol thanks to a grant from the Governors
highway safety office. This extra funding will allow for over 100 hours of
enforcement to take place during this campaign. These extra hours will be
worked primarily in Chippewa and East
Union Townships
