The information on purchasing the dog license and the rabies tag are needed, but I think the purpose of the dog license is needed on here as well. The dog license is not just purchased to help the city with revenue. It is to be attached to your dog along with his rabies tag. If you care enough to purchase an ID tag that would be great too. With these items attached to their collar it will help your four-legged family member to return home if they were to come up missing. You can actually go onto the county auditor site under lost dogs and enter the license number to see who they belong to. That was something I was not aware of, but found out because the dispatcher at the Rittman police Dept. was nice enough to tell me when my husband and I were trying to find the owner of a lost dog that we had found a couple weeks ago. With that information we were able to locate this dogs owner and return him safely home.
