Sheriff's Office to train teachers in A.L.I.C.E

In the weeks to come the Sheriff's office will be presenting the A.L.I.C.E school safety procedure to many of our local schools teachers and administrators. School violence cannot be totally eliminated but steps can be taken to enhance security measures that are currently in place and save lives.

We must get away from the “lock the door and hope the bad guy goes away” mentality A.L.I.C.E (Alert, Lockdown, Inform, Counter, Evacuate)  will help do this.

School administrators who wish to learn more may contact Captain Doug Hunter at 330-287-5758 or at dhunter@wcjustice-center.org
