Wayne County Sheriff's Reserves All Star Country Music Spectacular is Saturday!

On behalf of the Sheriff's Office, I encourage your support of the Wayne County Sheriff's Reserves All Star Country Music Spectacular. The All Star Country Music Spectacular show is the only fundraiser of the Sheriff's Reserves and is held once a year. This year it is Saturday July 21st.

This volunteer organization is not funded by any tax revenue and must rely on this fundraiser as their main source of operating funds. It is only with your support of purchasing tickets, advertising in the program, or making a donation that our 39th Annual All Star Country Music Spectacular will continue to be a success.

The Wayne County Sheriff's Reserves are a dedicated group of volunteers who are instrumental in assisting the Wayne County Sheriff's Office in many ways. In 2011 they donated more than 4100 hours to the citizens of Wayne County. In these tough economic times their assistance with manpower and additional equipment at several functions throughout Wayne County is invaluable to the Sheriff's Office.

The dedicated Reserve Deputies use their funds to purchase uniforms and equipment for their unit in support of the Sheriff's Office. They maintain full-time employment to support of their families and communities and still give of their time to serve as a Reserve Deputy.

I urge you to support the Wayne County Sheriff's Reserves if you are contacted by telephone to advertise in their program or purchase tickets for the show. If you need additional information please call 330-345-3520 or contact the Sheriff's Office to verify this is a supported fundraiser.

The support of the Reserve's in the operations of the Sheriff's Office is critical for us to continue to provide professional law enforcement to all the citizens of Wayne County.

Please accept my personal thank you for your continued support of the Wayne County Sheriff's Reserves.

 Thomas G. Maurer, Sheriff
